Crashes on start for months now

This app wont even start most of the time, and when it does it just sits there frozen. Im not sure how many people cars.com had to pay to get a 4 star review but this app hasnt functioned in months, wish I could give it zero stars.

These crashes have lasted through multiple updates and "bug and crash" fixes in the update notes...
